Week Ten: October 12, 2015

1st of all! HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLIN!  & CONGRATS on State Tennis title round 2 Madeline! woot woot, that´s my sister!

This week was JAM PACKED!

The beginning of this week we had Conferencia de Nuevos!
SO FUN!
I learned so much and had the 2 best mini cambios(exchange) ever!! I learned way too much to write but one thing I learned was:
JUST SPEAK who cares if you don´t know how just do it!
Then my other fav highlight was something our pres said to me was:
There are missionaries who can make things happen in any sector and any circumstance the only thing that is different, is they are always happy no matter what happens, go make things happen.
During these mini cambios I had the opportunity to see the areas on the COAST and the areas in the CITY and I am in the CAMPO haha. So fun to see all the different parts of the mission and how in the city parts there were SO many members! Yes I did start to think"I wish our apt was this nice, or I wish we had this many members to work with, I wish there were this many people... etc.." but then I took a step back and remembered I was called to my sector for a reason, and I have a purpose there no matter what the circumstance.:)

I love all the missionaries in the best mission in the world.... Chile, Concepcion!

Update on D******. Oh my word she is a GEM!
We gave her a Libro de Mormon that she has been asking for and she is SO  excited to read it! Also she wants a triple combo so one of the cute members Antonia was at the temple in Santiago this week so she picked one up for her. She just wants to be a member so bad and I have faith one day there will be a way. My comp says she has never had such an interested pro active investigator.
It was so cute D******* said to me after I bore my testimony of the B of M, "REALLY?! I can recieve answers through this book, any answer?!" Awww, I love her with all my heart.

We have 3 new investigators one has cancer though, pray for her.

We had a really fun double zone activity today in Penco on the coast!
We played soccer, volleyball, ate lots of completos, and took lots of fun pics!

I have grown a lot this week. I have a testimony of why I was called to this crazy rapido spanish speaking, fun people, new way of life mission and that is to have a challange and become a better disciple of Christ.
I love the mission.
I love the Lord.
I love the work.
I love being Hermana Black. One day at a time, letsss go!   But, really i am so lucky to be here.

Fun Fact:

- I lost my nametag this week but our sweet neighbor found it and said she knew it was mine because it had a blonde hair wrapped around it and I am the only blonde in Chile. lol

I love you all to the moon & back X10!

xoxo - Hermana Black
