Week Six: September 14, 2015

 Hola! HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE!

First week in Chile!
So first off we left the CCM and the last night we watched meet the mormons and had a testimony meeting with all the missionaries leaving. I made so many great new friends there but most of them are going to BYU so i will see them in Provo when i get back.
Loved talking to you for a couple min at the airport in Mexico on the sweet Cathiloc man´s phone. The flight to Santiago was ALL night haha but it was on a really nice plane with nice chairs, two meals, etc.
Our district missed our flight to Conce because the travel office made a mistake on the time and we didn´t have enough time for customs. So we had a 6 hr layover in Santiago haha but we couldn´t call because the phones didn´t work.... So we hung out with our fun CCM district.  we all enjoyed one last hoorah together.
When we arrived the mission pres, his wife, office missionaries, and the AP´s picked us up with a warm welcome!
We hurried so fast to the mission office because we were so behind and they wanted to get us to our houses on time.
We had PIZZA, orientation, testimony meeting, interviews, etc. With a drum roll we recieved our trainers!

We said goodbye to our wonderful district and to my comp from CCM... sad.

The mission pres took me and my trainer to the bus and we were off.

I arrived in my first area, COELMU and the zone is called TOME!
WOWZA!
The members helped us with my luggage off the bus to our very very humble casa. We are serving in one of the most humble parts of the Conce mission my president said.
My mission mama aka trainer is awesome! Just what i would ask for a Latina that speaks english! She is unbelievable! She is so fun, so loving, and more!

I never imagined the field would be this hard haha! It is a change.. I will send pic of house next week. I can´t understand the Chileans at all but
I LOVE THEM
already!

I have loved getting to know all the investigators and members!
So neat.
The spirit has no limit by language.

I did my first baptism commitment yesterday!

We do lots of street contacting!

My first Sunday and I am the ward pianist haha! No one can play.
I introduced myself and bore my testimony in my broken spanish.

Everyone is so loving here!

After our church meeting we headed to the Elders casa in our district where they hold church because no church building and they need help teaching the classes.
Fun Facts:
- We were doing street contacts and my comp had me lead the whole thing to this one guy and i took down his number and everything and then my comp and him start laughing so hard and are like ¨hes already amember but good work Hna. black!" hahaha so mean lol so funny.

- We eat so much bread everybody wasnt joking when they said Chile is famous for their bread!

- Everyone here is preparing for the Chile independence day Sept 18th, this Thursday! Im excited!

- Everyone here kisses everyone on the cheek it is so sweet i love it! But somethines we have to hurry and put our hand when the guys are trying to.

I love you guys! more next week!
