Hey everybody!
Love you all!
Thanks for everything!Shout out to everyone who started school at BYU this week!
GOOD LUCK! ( D&C 130:18-19, 2 Nephi 32:9)
Hermana Erickson (Lexi) and our other really great friends all left earlier this week so bitter sweet!!!! Amazing but sad because we have all become so close going through the first weeks of our missions together every sec of the day.
I cant believe i already leave on monday the time has flown and im sure it will keep flying by.
soooo glad i made the decision to come on a mission!
It is a really short period of time in the long run but has such a lasting effect! although it is hard, i love it!I leave Monday afternoon from the CCM!
WOW!
totes cray cray!!
At the devo this week we watched a live broadcast from the Provo MTC from Elder Oaks and his wife.
It was amazing!
as a choir we sang Lead Kindly Light,. The spirit here is so strong 24/7!
I LOVE IT!
Elder Oaks talked about the importance of listening to the sacrament prayers and really preparing for sacrament meeting by coming with a broken heart and a contrite spirit really seeking forgiveness.
The atonement and the sacrament are amazing.
We are so blessed!
am i right?!
The MTC director went to our mission!
He was talking to our district all about it this week!
haha he told us more about the crazy rain everyone talks about! He said we should all buy sailor water suits when we get down there! how funny is that; that will be fun!
We talked about specific prayers a lot this week as well.
They are amazing and i have a stronger testimony of how important they are.
"Reason with the Lord in all things."
The adorable latinas in our casa left this week too!
We became so close with them!
They liked to practice their English and we liked to practice our spanish! They are so fun! A couple of them were in UT last yr at general conference and wanna go back in the future with their husbands so maybe we will meet up again in the future.
Fun Fact:
- A couple days ago our teacher was talking about gangs in spainsh and he called the gangstas: Cholos LOL! Reminded me of that funny song!
I know the church is true!
I am so glad i came on a mission.
I am FREAKING out for Chile with my Spanish and everything but so so so excited!
This is why I'm here, right?!
haha we will see what happens when i first hear the loco Chilean Español!
Audios! Buenos Seurte con todas cosas!
Te quiero!
con mucho amor, Hermana Olivia Black
