Week Thirty Eight: April 25, 2016

Hello my favorite people!!

CONGRATS Collin & Jewels!!

Happy Ani MOM & DAD.

We have the best family in the whole world all because you two amazing people got married.

Love you all!!:)

Mothers Day: MAY 8th I get to skype you guys!!

I will let you know the exact hora next week.

My new hija is from Columbia, her name is Hermana Salazar, and I have never met such a sweet gem in my life; she also has the cutest accent!

She has the strongest testimony even though there is a little fear for her to talk with the people.

I love her already & I am super excited to work diligently in the lords vineyard with her.

L****: She is going to be baptized May 7th!!

Oh she is so funny... She wanted the temple president to baptize her and if not him Presidente Arrington!

haha.... Well we will see what happens but we talked about how it is all the same priesthood power.

She is so sweet after one of our lessons the member was with us and gave the final prayer asking that L**** would know if she should be baptized that date, then after the prayer she looked up and said " I felt it, I feel happy in my heart and my heart was jumping when she said that date."

It was quite touching and even though she can´t speak Spanish or English very well the spirit is the SAME!

It has been so fun to teach in a mix of Spanish, English and watching her reading in Chinese.

I love her and I am so happy she found out that God exists and not only that she said that she knows this is the true church because she can feel the same happy feeling in her heart here and everywhere.

She loved the way to LEARN about what we worship.

A******: He is still progressing and still having some struggles with taking step of faith and knowing that God will take care of problems that could happen.

I told him hi from you guys and that you are praying for him.

It touched his heart.

We had a cool experience this week, we arrived at a cita with a menos activo family and their Catholic mom was visiting from Viña del Mar; we entered the house and the first thing she asks us is "Ok after many yrs of watching my kids get baptized and listen to you people I am going to open my heart and listen to what it is you guys are selling door to door but I will never change my ways."

We taught the Restoration and al final she was tearing up and said a prayer like we showed her and said if this is the path i should take i will change my religion.

I was very touched and she also said she is going to look up where the church is close to her house.

She may not be in our mission but I know that this was a meant to be moment.

COUSINS IN CHILE!!

This week I saw Mark in the mission office!!

I was turned around talking to Mckynna Rash (Saw her too!!) when I hear from behind me "Hermana Black.....is that you?!"

I turned around and there was cousin Mark!!

We both were dying and it was so exciting and surreal for both of us.

We were able to talk for a little while.

I was waiting for my trainer training to begin and he was there for interviews with their president.

He is so amazing and such a great missionary.

He was like "wow two yrs almost --  I have missed you!!"

so weird to see part of family in mission.

After the meeting my mission president came and got me to say bye to him and talk a little more!

love you all and i know the church and spirit are REAL!

chau chau xoxoxo!
