Week Fifteen: November 16, 2015

This week was amazing. A week of change in the work!! We set new goals and added more heart and spirit to the work, makes all the difference! I love this work and there is no place I would rather be.

Milagro:
We have 2 new investigators with baptismal dates: M***** and S******! M***** is 18, has a SUPER Evangélico mother, and she is the sweetest! M***** had a dream this week about standing in the baptismal font!! wow. She has listened to missionaries on and off throughout differnet times in her life but finally feels like this is an answer! so happy for her! I love everytime when we are talking and she laughs so hard at my spanish and kisses my cheek so funny!
S******* is a contact we found during my mini cambio this week with Hermana Kinkade! We have had 1 lesson with her and she told Hna Monroy and I that she accepted to listen to us because she still remembers to this day when some Elders came to their house when she was 7yrs old and she said she will never forget the feeling they brought from even that young age. She is awesome, has 2 kids, and one little problem that she can`t read; but I am so happy we were able to meet her.

Investigator N**** i told you guys about last week told us this week that she "recieved" an answer to her doubts and questions....... she recieved her answer in her "way" by asking her friends if she should join this church.

The less-active couple with the daughter - Pablo y Barbara handed us a folded up paper this week in our visit and when we opened it; it was an invitation to their WEDDING in January! They are getting married! YAY! We sang families can be together forever and just were beyond happy. TEMPLE in the future too!! buuuut they need to come to church first and prepare but wow I love them. They are teaching their daughter Cata more about the gospel too and it is just so cute she always wants to give the prayer, etc.

This week was the week that we go to the Elder`s in our district`s church --at their house -- and it is always so spiritual because the few members just have the strongest testimonies and lots of strength! Like Coelemu too! I hope i would be that great of a member even if I didn`t grown up in a ward with lots of member friends. They are great examples.:)

Today we went to the city Concepcion for my first time -- first time not just in the office and it was so fun! We went to say goodbye to a girl from her primero sector who was leaving on a mission to Viña del Mar. So fun!   We ate yummy food and took pics with the hats mom and dad sent from and had ANOTHER b-day celebration for Hna Monroy with custom Hershey bar from nyc.

We are starting to give out Ponderizing this week with our members and less-actives: D&C 8:2.

Fun Facts:
- Our shower heater was broken so we had cold showers for like 2 weeks but now it is fixed and I am so happy!;) (made me grateful for warm showers)
- Haha at the end of church in the Elders chapel aka their house this week and an Elder was handing out candy after to be nice everything then we look at the wrappers and they are Whisky dulces with real liquor and nobody realized till that moment haha it was so funny!!

I love you all to the moon and back X1000!
XOXO
-Hermana Black
