Hey hey hey!!
WOW! What a week!!
I am so happy.
We have had quite the crazy week -- quick transfer back to the campo (country)!
I said goodbye to amazing Linares which once again was hard.
I just have so much love for the members and Investigators and the group of investigators we had after lots of work. Hector gave me a box of rocks and different things that meant different principles we taught him, ---- it was so profound.
D***** and his fam was hard to leave and of course N****** and her cutie kiddos. I was certain I was staying but now I am off to a new adventure in the service of the Lord.
Something funny happened on the bus; I was on the way back from a training for trainers in Concepción.
I sat next to a NUN of the Catholic Church haha. It was quite funny being a missionary sitting next to her; but so fun we talked lots and she gave me all sorts of Santo Maria photos and prayers.:)
I shared a little of our beliefs too!
Elder Bednar in Argentina: We also had the opportunity this week to have a special missionary conference with all of South America-South missionaries. We talked about our area goal to baptize, retain, and reactivate. It was amazing Elder Bednar talked a lot about conversion to Christ.
PARRAL(new sector): I am now in lovely Parral and excited to work!
It has been soooo very crazy.
I came to this sector not knowing it before hand and my sweet hija doesn't know it very well either (I do not blame her as a new missionary), the area book is not very up to date, and there is not really a focus group of investigators; but that´s ok because we can do it.
It shall be interesting, but I have felt humbled.
We're learning the importance of putting all trust in the Lord and his errands.
I do not know why I was changed but the Lord knows and that´s all that matters.:)
I am so lucky because Hna Flores is SO excited to work!!
I asked if she was okay to take a little bit of P-day to clean the area book.
She said, "Yay, we´re going to clean the area book to find people to teach!!"
I love new missionary energy!!!:)
She was stressing a little.
I told her not to worry because I am going to study the map and do everything I can to help her learn lots and enjoy the mission.
I have already learned so much from her and I can take this opportunity to learn more spanish too with a Latina!!:)
We taught an investigator named J****** and it was so cute, Hna Flores just gave me the biggest hug after and was like wow that is what the spirit in teaching feels like!!
That is the greatest thing so i am so happy she can recognize the importance of the spirit!
More about actual Parral next week!!
