This week was a difficult, funny, and amazing one!
Funny funny things happened in our house this week haha!
It all started with a lizard chillinnn in my comps garments haha, then cockroaches in the baño, then RATS!!
We came home from church yesterday for weekly planning and the bathroom looked like a earthquake had happened... then there was rat poop all about the house!
Scary!
Then one jumped right in front of us!!
We put traps out from our neighbors and went to sleep last night... then at 2 in the morning we here screaming from the other girls room and a big one was scratching at her leg up on her bed!!!
AH!
We heard them scampring in the walls all night....... ah! Then they escaped but not to worry we have brooms, boxes, etc... and we are buying poison today!
The Elders said they will kill them if we can catch em.
yikes!
hahahah well that is the funny story..
Remember our investigator K*****?!
Well quick refresher!
She is one of the CHOSEN and is prepared to receive the gospel. She has all the lessons and then went to Santiago for the holidays and we called her and she was reading her Book of Mormon all throughout the trip and writing her questions. Then we had our visit all set up with her when she got back, called her the day before and everything was set. We practiced our lessons on eternal families and eternal marriage super well using all our resources, etc!(we even had a couple set up to come testify of eternal marriage!) Then we receive a call from her mid study sesh and all she says is
" I don´t want anything more with you guys ever again, you can come get your book and pamphlets....." then hangs up.
Sad...Satan!!
He knew we were going to touch on the most important subject: family.
We are going to pray and stop by in a couple weeks.
Then happily after...
DIEGO got baptized!!
Wahoo!
It was the most spiritual thing I have experienced.
Filipe his recent convert of 1yr now brother BAPTIZED him!
It was so touching.
His dad A****** (Investigator eternal) bore his testimony too, that was like WOW!
A***** is prepared too but he feels the need to wait for his sweet wife P*****. We will see what the future holds, they have two amazing sons as examples.
In the testimony of Diego it was so touching when he said the words "Who knew a year ago that my life would be so blessed.... and he said I know one day we will have an eternal family."
That just was like a boost after a hard week!
That is why we are here to help others feel the spirit and then receive eternal life.
I am so grateful for my eternal family.
