Happy Birthday this week Quinn, you are an amazing brother!!
First things first!
We had transfers this morning right?!
annnnnnnd still in shock.....but Hna Monroy and I are being transfered!!
annnnnd Elders and going to take our place in Coelemu because they don´t have sufficient priesthood in the branch.
It is super sad, funny, shocking, but most of all a blessing for the branch.
Yesterday everyone was like see you soon with your new comp, etc haha.. Nobody can believe it the members and investigators are in shock and are quite sad but they are going to be in such good hands with our old district leader. We have been working all morning leaving all kinds of notes, updating all the records, etc.. We need to do all we can to keep our investigators going, I love everyone of them with all my heart and will still pray for them forever!
I am headed for sector Linares, the furthest sector of the mission!!
Super far away!
I am super sad to be leaving Coelemu (greatest sector on earth) but I am so excited to see what the new sector has in store.
Also I will be in a trio with a gringa and a latina! how fun right?!
I will also miss the best trainer in the whole mission, Hermana Monroy; she has been called as Sister Training Leader in the south!
SO happy for her she is going to change so many missionaries lives like she has changed mine.
Un poco triste pero mismo obra lets go!:)
I love it!
This final week in was the perfect ending to our time as the dynamic duo and our time in Coelemu!
I finished my training!
time flies I can´t believe it!
We kept in minds our goal of "have eyes to see" and our week was full of meant to be!
incredible spritual moments : (here are a few)
- When we were asking the Municipalidad for permission to have a family history stand with our district in the plaza we gave them a letter of our proposal and a few min later a different man came out and said "the missionary´s have crossed my path again, it has been years....."
- We didn´t recieve permission till the day after we did the family history stand so we did it in front of a member´s resturant and it turned into the perfect bad news in the world! It was actually a blessing we had to do it in a different place because we were able to find a complete member family who moved here from Chillan 4yrs ago and didn´t know there was a chapel in Coelemu so went less active and want to return!
- The same day during our family history stand we found an old investigator who said she had a answer to her prayers and to visit soon so she can tell us the story!
- Our investigator E******** who didn´t believe in God prayed after our second lesson every night and said she knows with our a doubt there is a God and that she felt comfort running up her back! so sweet, I love hearing all the different promptings of the spirit.
- S******* gave up smoking and is going to talk to she boyfriend this week about the law of chastity. When we taught this lesson she said " I think he will actually understand, because he so happens to be a member but hasn´t gone to church since he was 10." wow. She has so much potential.
- Then to top of this week of milagros we contacted this cute little family in the plaza and we find out they are less actives too! We commited them to come to church the next day and they all actually showed up! It was so cute their little girls came running up to us and gave us big hugs and said "we are just so happy we saw you yesterday! We miss church so much!"
And much more but this is all I can put into words.
I love the gospel with all my heart.
This Thanksgiving season I am beyond grateful for the decision I made to come on a mission.
I feel so lucky everyday to be an insturment in the Lord´s hands.
Fun Facts:
- we went on a giant hike with the youth of our branch and the extension of the branch; still sore. It was 4hrs up and 3 hrs down, but gorgeous! Every part of Chile is gorgeous!
I love you guys to the moon and back X10!
your favorite daughter sister and friend;)
